Juliette T. - Owner and Lead Tutor

 

My twenty years of teaching experience has led me to Pen and Prose Tutoring, and I’m so

glad you’re here!

 

I am passionate about literature, language, and the transformative power of education. I have

also had the privilege of working with students at all levels, from grades 3 through 12 to

college instruction.

 

I hold a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Arts in English, and both have equipped me with a

deep understanding of literature, writing, and critical thinking. My academic background has

not only enriched my own teaching but has also allowed me to foster a love of reading and

writing in my students.

 

Throughout my career, I’ve had the opportunity to teach a wide range of subjects, including

literature, composition, creative writing, and English language arts. This diverse experience

has allowed me to engage with students from various age groups, adapting my teaching

strategies to meet their needs and encouraging them to become confident, thoughtful

communicators. Whether guiding elementary students through their first stories or

challenging high schoolers with complex literary analysis, I am deeply committed to helping

my students grow academically and personally.

 

As an educator, I strive to create an environment where students feel inspired and supported.

I believe in fostering a love for learning that extends beyond the classroom, providing

students with the tools they need to succeed both in school and in life. I am proud of the

lasting impact I have had on my students' educational journeys, and I continue to be inspired

by their achievements. I look forward to continuing to share my passion for literature and

education with all who cross my path.
